The Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomes trade inquiries from all over the world, whether from importers or exporters.  We also welcome requests and proposals for international investment.

While we take all reasonable steps to distribute such approaches throughout our trade networks within Australia, we do not warranty any responses.  These are determined by the commercial and trade interests of our members.

Thailand-Australia Free Trade Agreement (TAFTA)

The Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has been authorised to issue Certificates of Australian Origin under the Thailand-Australia Free Trade Agreement (TAFTA).

The following information and materials on the TAFTA and on ACCI-TAFTA Certificates of Australian Origin can be obtained from this website:

• an information package on obtaining a TAFTA Certificate of Australian Origin;

• a list of our Agents, carrying our delegated authority to physically sign TAFTA Certificates of Australian Origin; and

• an electronic copy of the ACCI-TAFTA Certificate of Australian Origin.

Specifically, for exporting to Thailand under the new TAFTA arrangements, you will need:

1. An Exporter Registration Number - this lists all your relevant products.  It is a one-off requirement.

2. A Certificate of Origin for each shipment.
