Aged and Community Services Australia
Aged and Community Services Australia (ACSA) is the national peak body representing not-for-profit and faith-based providers of residential and community care, and housing and support for people with a disability and their carers.
ACSA is a Federation with four State associations which provide direct support, advocacy and training for members.
The aged care industry comprises Residential Aged Care Facilities, home care and nursing services, retirement villages, independent living units and seniors’ housing.
More than 700,000 older Australians depend on care and support provided by our members in metropolitan, regional, rural and remote regions across the country
By 2050 it is estimated people over the age of 65 will represent a quarter of Australia’s population.
At a national level ACSA has a key role advocating for the industry to ensure Australia has a sustainable system able to deliver quality services and care for our ageing population.
